How it affects

My topic has affected students my age in a great deal. The fact the kids are being introduced to technology, like computers, cell phones, and iPods, at such a young age is astounding. Children all over the country knows about all these things and thats what keeps the technology advances going. Most people would think that technology is bad especially with kids but they’re wrong. It isn’t technology that is bad, just bad ways to use technology.

From my topic I’ll be showing you mostly shortcuts, helpful hints. and much more just about the computer. I’ll show you how to fix common computer problems and more. Technology is great but I’m mostly familiar with the Windows Operating System. I, personaly, think that Macintosh is too simple and many things are restricted. So mostly I’ll be answering questions and, if i can, try to find the way on a Mac.

Computers can be tricky but most problems can be solved. When they’res a will theres a way! Just a quick tip: Don’t leave your computer on all day and night. This runs the fan out and can cause it to break down. If your fan breaks then, if you wanted, you’d have to get a new one which can cost up to 600 dollars which is basically a new computer.

New Technology

I was reading this blog and it was talking about new technology. They said that in the future that all the kids would have their own laptops. It was only about a paragraph but it talked about some really important stuff. This person says that they watched a video and thats how they got the information. Heres a link.

I agree with what this person is saying. Technology in the future would be better that now and way more advanced. The fact that everyone will get laptops means that school and education will also progress futher. It just shows that new technology will help us in more ways than one. Since google is such a great search engine it will probably continue to grow as the years go by.

Hardware Sphere

The blog I visited was called “Hardware Sphere” and it talked about new gadgets that would come out and what they did. It doesn’t really give an opinion about the object but in some cases it mentions price and usually what use you can get out o the object and how to would help. In one post the author was talking about a hard drive and mentioned this:

“Western Digital has taken the first lead to be releasing their latest green hard drive with capacity of 2000GB or 2TB.”

The overall look of the blog was okay, it could have been better. It looked as if the page was a bit too overloaded like there was too much information and the ads that were on the page seemed to just throw you off from what was the acctual blog and what were the ads. It did have some helpful components though, for example to the side was a catagory list so you could acctually choose what kinds of stuff you wanted to read about, from kitchen hardware to laptops. On the front page it had the most interesting hardware which really would help anyone who was reading it, to get into the blog.

All of the posts that you could see had a summary first. It told you maybe about a paragraph or two from the begining of the post and you could read it and if you liked it it gave you the option of reading on. A majority of the posts were well written. Puncuation and spelling were great and it was very clear on what the author was talking about. The blog also had many pictures so you knew what it was the hardware looked like. Overall, it was a very nice read for anyone interesting in putting some extra technology in your life.

Yo. I’m TechDek and I’m going to give you guys some helpful tips, info on programs, software, and maybe help solve some problems. I personally know a lot about computers and I thought it would be cool to share some info with people like YOU….or not…perhaps. First, about me: I enjoy listening to music, reading, hangin’ out with friends, talking and of course going onto the computer and discovering new things. I’m still in school (somewhere~!) and my favorite subjects would be science and math because I’m good at it. My favorite color is red and I DO have my own computer so I expirement at home on it and it turns out to be pretty fun.

Your probably wondering ‘why?’. Well, unlike other blogs, I’ll get straight to the point. Not SO much info but then there will be just enough. Also, it won’t just be about computers! It will be for everything technology related like phones, iPods, dvds stuff like that. Mostly I’ll talk about programs people are wondering about, how to use them, which are the best ect.

I’ll take any request that anyone has. If you got a problem (Tech related) I can probably solve it. Wondering about a certain software? ASK ME! I’m sort of like the Best Buy Geek Squad except way cooler. Now I’m not much a a hardware person so….don’t ask but other than that go ahead!
